Available as a standalone module or as part of an induction programme, this course outlines how anaphylaxis can be caused by a broad range of ‘triggers’ (such as insect stings and certain foods, e.g., nuts and shellfish, latex) and medicines, (such as penicillin).

Learners will also learn how to recognise the symptoms and identify how to administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from anaphylaxis. This is suitable for any employee or manager working in an environment where an understanding of anaphylaxis and autoinjectors would be beneficial.
